Finding calm, balance, and space to breathe during the busiest time of the year
The holiday season is supposed to feel joyful, cozy, and full of connection, yet many of us end up feeling stretched thin. There are social plans, work deadlines, family expectations, big emotions, and a pace that seems to speed up right when we feel the need to slow down.
This is where yoga becomes such a steady companion. Not the hour-long practice. Not the picture-perfect moment on the mat you see online. I am talking about the simple practice that helps you breathe again. The movements that bring you back into your own body. The pause that helps you feel more present in the middle of the chaos.
How yoga supports you during the holiday season
Yoga reminds you to come home to yourself. When life gets busy, your mind can start to race, your shoulders creep higher, and your breath gets tight. Even ten to twenty minutes of yoga can shift that feeling. You stretch what feels stuck, release tension, move your spine, and create space to breathe again.
Yoga helps you
Reset your nervous system during stressful days
Feel calmer when emotions run high
Feel more present in your daily life
Move your body in a way that feels supportive
Feel balanced instead of pulled in every direction
Create a little pocket of time that belongs only to you
And if you want an experience that feels even more spacious, I am hosting a Yin Yoga Sound Bath with Darren from 8th Chakra YXE on Saturday December 13 from 5:15 to 6:15 pm. It is the perfect way to soften the holiday rush and give your body and mind extra care.
Or if you need want to start small, my Free Monday Night Online Yoga is always there for you. It is twenty minutes of movement that helps you reset and reconnect with yourself as you begin a new week.
Yoga is not about being perfect. It is about returning to yourself again and again, especially during the season when you need it the most.
Until then,
Fill your jar with the things you love to do!
And keep being you, the world needs more you!🌻❤️
